Here is a list of the Conference awards and the Qualifications required to enter.
All awards are presented annually for competition by Clubs within the District. Judging takes place at the District Conference and trophies are to be presented at the District Governor's Dinner.
Clubs are required to return trophies to the District Conference each year.
Full details of the winning entries will be circulated to all clubs. The winning club will engrave on the trophy details of the year, club name and the President's name. At the discretion of the District Governor the original trophy may be replaced when necessary and thereafter displayed at each Conference as an incentive to clubs to compete for the honour of winning and holding the replacement trophy for one year.
SECTION A - AWARDS FOR SPECIAL ACTIVITIES -
CLUBS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT AN ENTRY
CLUB SERVICE -
The Jim Foots Best Club Program/Project Award - Based on exhibits displayed at the Conference taking into consideration the number of Rotarians in the Club when allotting points for an exhibit displaying only activities in which the Club has been actively engaged during the current Rotary year. The exhibits are to be mounted on an area not exceeding three square metres, the Conference organisers to arrange for the supply of suitable materials on which displays can be mounted. Judges are appointed by the District Governor.

COMMUNITY SERVICE -
The Innisfail Community Service Cane Knife Trophy - for one or more projects satisfying a significant need in the local community involving a large proportion of Club members and completed in one year. The extent of public information is relevant but not necessarily the amount of money involved. Joint Club projects or entries are not eligible. Entry is by letter signed by the Community Service Director, the President and Secretary with supporting material in the hands of the District Governor two weeks before the Conference. Judges are appointed by the District Governor.
VOCATIONAL SERVICE -
The Maitland Low Vocational Service Trophy - Having regard to guidelines for vocational service objectives in the Manual Of Procedure with points for the effect of each project at the levels of the Club, its individual members, the business community, the community in general and youth in the community. Entry is in the form of a report (to be measured and supported by any available documentary material, photos, letters or other evidence) signed by the Vocational Service Director, the President and Secretary and in the hands of the District Governor two weeks before the Conference. Judges are the District Governor and two Past District Governors.
INTERNATIONAL SERVICE -
The Charles Butler International Service Trophy - for the best activities in all fields of international service during the year with points awarded for each field of service activity as outlined in the entry form. Entry Form for the Charles Butler International Service Trophy Supply details of the persons or program or overseas Club speaker who or which is the subject of a claim in the entry form for an award of points.

SECTION B CLUB ATTENDANCE AWARDS -
NO ENTRY REQUIRED
These awards are awarded on the basis of figures supplied by the District Attendance Officer for the period 1 July to 31 March, preceding a Conference.
The Rockie Crust Attendance Wheel - for the best average District attendance.
The Perc Liviesley Attendance Banner - for the club with fifty or more members with the best average District attendance.
The Jack Woodward Attendance Trophy - for the club being distant over eighty kilometres from the next nearest club with the best average attendance.
SECTION C CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE AWARDS -
NO ENTRY REQUIRED
These awards are awarded based on the average attendance at the morning and afternoon sessions during the Conference divided by the club membership at the end of the calendar month two months prior to the date of the Conference and multiplied by the distance traveled (road kilometres from the home club to the Conference venue).
The Alf Wynne Rose Bowl - for the best attendance of club members at all District Conference sessions (other than District Governor's dinner).
The Lex Fraser Rose Bowl - for the best attendance of Partners at all District Conference sessions (excluding the District Governor's Dinner).
The Arthur Forno First Attendance Trophy - for the highest number of Rotarians attending a District Conference for the first time from the Rotary clubs over forty kilometres from the conference site. In the event of an equal number attending, the club whose members must travel the furthest distance by the most direct route from its meeting place to the conference venue being the winner.
SECTION D OTHER AWARDS - NO ENTRY REQUIRED
The Charles Butler Bulletin Trophy - for the best bulletins published between 1 July and 31 March in the current Rotary year. March bulletins must be in the hands of the Bulletin Collator by 19 April.
The Bill Hastie 100% Attendance Trophy - The Bill Hastie Trophy was presented by the Rotary Club of Mareeba to recognise outstanding attendance by members of a Club. The inaugural presentation (to the Rotary Club of Mareeba) was made at the Port Douglas Conference in May 1999.
Clubs are judged on the number of members who achieve 100% attendance, as a percentage of the total number of members. The formula used is shown on the face of the trophy and is:
Number of 100% members x total years 100% divided by number of present members.
Nominations: To be made in writing to the District Secretary by end March, for assessment by judges appointed by the District Governor at the District Conference.
The McKeller Family Web Page Trophy - for the best, new, and or improved web site maintained on a web site from the period 1 July to 1May.
The Mitch Clarke Trophy - for the highest relative net membership gain from 1 July to 31 March.
The Graham Cossins Rotary Foundation Trophy - for the highest contribution per capita of membership to the Rotary Foundation for the period 1 January to 31 December in the preceding calendar year based on schedules supplied by the Secretariat of Rotary International.
The Stan Strange Memorial Rotary Foundation Trophy - [from Rotary Clubs of Mundingburra, Ross River and Townsville South-West] for the greatest contribution per capita of membership by any club with more than 45 members to the Rotary Foundation from 1 January to 31 December in the preceding calendar year based on schedules supplied by the Secretariat of Rotary International.
The Les Reed Rotary / Rotaract Involvement Trophy - to the Rotary Club which, in the opinion of the District Rotaract Committee, has during the current Rotary year been most involved with its sponsored Rotaract Club.
The Bill Wong Hoy Extension Trophy - for the Club which, during the period of 12 calendar months commencing 7 days prior the Conference in the preceding year, shall sponsor any new Club - 50 points being awarded for each Rotary club, 30 points for each Rotaract club and 20 points for each Interact or Probus club - and if two or more clubs are entitled to the same points, the winning club shall be that which has the greatest combined membership at the same time of issue of the charter or certificate during the relevant period of each new club so sponsored by it.
The Australian Rotary Health Research Fund Perpetual District Trophy - for the club which, in the opinion of the District Governor, has rendered the most significant assistance to the Fund in the current Rotary year.
