Meet the District Governor Elect Graham Koch and Janet
Graham is a member of the Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise and served as the Charter President. He was also Club President in Rotary’s centennial year and has served a three-year term as Assistant Governor. A Rotarian since 1982, he has also been a member of the Rotary Club of Cairns and the Rotary Club of Innisfail.
Graham has been in the Financial Services industry for 35 years and formed his own local business in 1992, which has developed into the KIB Group of companies, providing financial planning, finance broking and insurance broking.
Graham is the Chairman of the Dr. Edward Koch Foundation Ltd., a non-profit organisation supporting public health in North Queensland. The Foundation is closely associated with Queensland Health’s Tropical Public Health Unit and the University of Queensland’s Department of Social and Preventative Medicine. The foundation takes its name from Graham’s great-grandfather who was a pioneer medico in Far North Queensland.
Graham and his wife Janet have four adult children and four grand children.
